Transfer from the airport or ferry terminal to your hotel. Today we head towards Chefchaouen, a beautiful blue and white-washed Andalucian town nestled in the Rif Mountains. The city is a relaxed town, with small winding alleyways and market squares, where the women of the surrounding Rif come to sell their hand made products. Dinner is at the Hotel or Riad .
After breakfast, you will head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis to explore the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire. Lunch will be in Meknes one of Morocco’s Imperial cities. After lunch, your driver will take you on a tour of Meknes, and then you will head off to Fes, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Dinner will be served in the hotel or Riad .
After breakfast you will meet your guide for a guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with local houses, historical sites and artisanal objects of Morocco. A visit to the Kings Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience. For lunch you will eat in traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will continue the tour and finish at the hotel for the evening with breakfast .
After an early breakfast at the hotel in Fez, you will depart to Marrakech as the pearl of the Atlas. The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains and along the base of the High Atlas Mountains with nice scenery. You will have nice picturesque stops to enjoy the landscapes. One in Marrakech, you will check into the hotel. After relaxing you will have an optional drive into the famous square of Djemma Lefna for a quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent cafe provides a spectacular view of the bustling square. Today you will meet your guide for a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Bahia palace, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souks (artisanal markets) lined with various art objects of Morocco. Night will be at the hotel/Riad .
After a relaxed morning, your last day of travel will take you back to Casablanca. For those wishing for extra time in Marrakech, feel free to depart in the early afternoon. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
